The Placement & Career Guidance Cell of P. K. Das College of Nursing organized a career-oriented session on “AI Powered Healthcare Hiring Platform” for the VIII Semester B.Sc. Nursing students. The programme was designed to familiarize students with the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in healthcare recruitment and to help them understand emerging career opportunities in a technology-enabled healthcare environment. A total of 90 VIII Semester B.Sc. Nursing students participated in the programme. The session was intended to support students who are approaching graduation and preparing for employment and career progression in the healthcare sector.
Objectives of the Programme
• To introduce students to AI-powered healthcare recruitment and hiring platforms.
• To create awareness about current and emerging healthcare career opportunities.
• To explain how digital technologies are influencing recruitment and employability.
• To provide industry-oriented insights for students preparing to enter the workforce.
• To encourage students to develop technology awareness and become future-ready healthcare professionals.
The session commenced at 2.30 PM at the PKDCN Auditorium. Mr. Ajaighosh, Officer – Partnerships, Nextenti Tech Pvt. Ltd., conducted an informative session focusing on the changing landscape of healthcare hiring. The interaction emphasized the importance of understanding digital recruitment systems, developing relevant professional skills, and remaining adaptable to technological changes in healthcare.

It strengthened awareness regarding technology-enabled recruitment and encouraged students to view digital competence as an important component of professional development. The interaction also supported the objectives of the Placement & Career Guidance Cell in preparing students for employment and career growth.
